Can I transfer my current years ISA into another with a better rate?

I have used my ISA allowance for this year and am now getting a rubbish rate. Can i transfer it to another banks ISA even though I\'ve used this years allowance?

But they are pretty much all giving a rubbish rate.
You need to consider fixing it for 12 months or so, when you will be able to get around 3%.

Online isa rates are better.

Agreed, Yes move it now. Move to a provider who is offering the best fixed rate for 12 months, or more if you prefer to chance the rates staying low for the period. Then when the fixed rate ends, and the rate returns to zilch, move it again to another provider.
