clubs for single mums

Are there any respectable clubs on the internet for my daughter who has been lonely for 4 yrs. She has lost her trust in men but wants a friend ,male or female, who she can talk to, and maybe get her confidence back, I`ve tried Google but don`t really know what to look for.

A quick search for "single mums" on Google does bring up some sites, and from a quick look at a couple of them at least some of them have forums where you can chat to other people (though it may be a bit like here - post a message and wait to see who replies). As to how good they are, I can't say, but you could sign up for some yourself and have a look around to see if they seem suitable. I doubt that you'll find anything like the kind of place in this weeks Woman's Hour drama though !
