A heinous crime?
A re-distribution of wealth?
A sin?
A sharing out of material goods to those less fortunate?
An expected loss from shops who charge way over the odds anyway?
Is there anyone on here who can hold their hands up & say they have NEVER ever nicked anything in their life - even when young? A tooty-frooty from Woollies pic ' mix? A Boots No 17 eyeshadow when they were 13? A pencil from WHS?

When I was 13 lots of things, jeans, shoes, make up, record albums, but I lived in Australia at the time and it was so easy. Thing is nothing was for me, used to get it for friends or my sisters. Oh I did keep one thing, the Imagine album by John Lennon and still got it. Not proud of it at all but just a phase I was going through.
My Mum marched me back to Woolies and made me give back the bits I stole. Still that was better than the local bobby greeting me in local supermarket with the words " Well its not a good afternoon actually I have your daughter in my car . The coop rang me to report she has been caught shoplifting." That was followed by a visit to the police station weeks later for a caution. ( She was 10 at the time and I still think it was all a bit heavy-handed)
Make up, like Daffy from Woolies when i was 13 I think, ya think that's why they went bust? ;-)
I also got caught, and the security guard called my mum from work and she went mental at me. I genuinely thought she was going to kill me- well she threatned to all the way home. It scared me off for life.
As for a "re-distribution of wealth"..? Yes Winona Ryder certainly did her bit there didn't she?

I can truthfully say I have never nicked anything from any shop in all my life, although I have found something in the shopping trolley on very few occasions that I genuinely didn't know I had left in the trolley when I transferred shopping to car.
Like most people I have nicked pens from work purely by accident.
BUT, and it's a big BUT, at the tender age of 17 a gang of us decided to have a party in the local Rugby Club. It was easy to get into and there was lots of booze!!
I have now ruined my image!!
