Got a phone call this morning from the Halifax.......
Him: Hello as a valued account holder we'd like to offer you a marvellous new product.
Me: I'm not an account holder.....I closed my ISA with you 3 weeks ago 'cos the interest rate was crap.

Him: I'd still like to offer you this product can you confirm your age
Me: Okay 61

Him: This product will pay you money if you have an accident.
Me: Why would I need money if I have an accident. I don't work, I don't have a mortgage, why would I need extra money if I had an accident?

Him: Wouldn't you like to make money out of an accident?
Me: Speechless hangs up.....................

Just think of all the World Cruises you could have had craft !
Take your Laptop with you and keep in touch with all of us poor souls on AB whilst you are lapping it up in the Sun.
