I want to invest but am not sure which investment option to go for - e.g. managed fund, shares, etc. and who the best company is for this.

suggest you buy a copy of Shares magazine or one of the other top titles What Investment, Investors Chronicle etc.

Info is too wide to answer in a simple "this is the best co."
