Its taking til this mornign to get all the numbers I need and then they dont pigging work grrrrrr, been on the phone for the best part of an hour after being cut off and put through to the wrong dept. I'm making a formal complaint and threatened to close my account....more hassle for me but I was annoyed. They said they'll escalate my complaint but no holidng my breath.
Hi craft1948, thats good. :P what annoyed me the most is that 3 different operators told me 3 different things! They're having problems due to changeover, now why couldnt the first tell me, oh, and btw I need a new telebanking registration number and oh you need a 10 digit ID for e-banking not your card number.. I swear I'm going back to stuffing the mattress
Hi Postdog, well I registered my interest in e-banking in October 09, received my passcode in Nov 09, no registration number. contacted them, they said they'd sent it out, had to reregister, got a new passcode December, no registration number, spoke to my branch who arranged to have a registration number sent out, got registration number this morning, went online and nothing worked!!! I'm usually a calm person (yes I am), but after being on the phone for nearly an hour I got a bit tetchy.
Yeah mcfluff, and I've just realised that they never reset my telebanking number either!!! apparently my 4 digit number should be a 5 digit number - thye never told me that when I've phoned about 40 times last month!! but when they put me through to reset it I went through the menu options then was cut off!! I'm going to need to phone them again. dammit.
I have used online banking for years and bank with First Direct. Never had any problems but i need to 'speak' to anyone for advise, which i rarely do, I can message them online and get a response with 24 hours. If i do ever call they always pick up straight to a person with one ring. Thats what i call service :)
