I don't have a VISA or Switch card, but often see things I want to buy mail order from abroad in foreign currency. Does the international money order still exist and if so where do you get them from? Do they cost a lot?

I think it is quite expensive to send money abroad like this. If you don't have a switch or visa card due to your age you could consider asking a parent to open a credit card in their name with a 2nd card for you.
Apparently Barclaycard offer this. My credit card company would insist that both users were over 18.
