I know the exchange rate for Thai baht is approx £1 for 50 baht. How much would I get when I return to England when I exchange unused baht, at say the Post Office ? Should it be the same? Not sure if this is the correct thread, I have put in Travel as well.

You can look it up on line- just google 'baht pound exchange rate'
It won't be the same rate. There is a large spread (10 to 20%, usually somewhere in between) between buying and selling rates
