paypal refund..?

evening all,
can anyone advise me please,
i have received a refund on my paypal account for £3, due to an item i bought off ebay not being quite as described (item price £9)
when i look at my paypal account it says 'completed' '£3'
on the line underneath it says 'temporary hold' and 'placed' '-£3'
is there anything i have to do please?

I think you just have to wait in case the seller appeals, try the community boards on ebay they're useful.

yeah ive tried to have a little read up about it,
just thought id try here incase someone knew,
but like you say it might be just a matter of waiting.
thered be no appeal, the lady was very amicable about the problem with the item.

sorry, back again about this paypal refund,
ok, its now saying 'temporary hold' 'removed' now instead of 'placed'
does that mean its a step nearer to clearing and being in my account?

could anyone help with this ebay question please, sorry to be a nuisance, but im anxious to know if i need to do anything or if anything is wrong with it.
im new to ebay and paypal and im not very familiar with the procedures yet..

Aye-Paypal has revamped their system but getting a refund from Ebay can take up to 3 weeks.Really depends on how quickly the other person involved is going to help like communicating with them.Some sellers can be right awkward.
It all goes through a process and the good thing is with paypal it tells you exactly what's what,dates and all.You're just going to have to be patient.
