I am over retirement age but have kept on working full time, recently I have decided to call it a day, my last wage slip and pay is dated 31/3/10. I know the new tax year starts in April, will I be entitled to a tax rebate ?

Unlikely - the tax year ended on 5 April and if the system worked properly you would have paid the correct tax up until then.

But it does depend on your income and tax code for the year. Most people with multiple sources of income end up either owing or being due tax - usually not very much

Fot this year it depends on your circumstances - you need to ensure you are paying the correct amount as farv as you can.
