Why havent you got a picture of yourself on here ? is it because

A - youre wary of it being used ( whatever way ) ??
B - you cant be bothered
C - no ones business what you look like
D you prefer what you have as your avatar

Mine doesn't actually show what I look like! Some people haven't put them up because they've tried and found it too complicated.

a) Because I don't have a recent photo to put on, b) I can't remember how the hell I got this one on, I know it took me ages to do it.

i like having murph (my cat) or something silly as an avatar. i don't see the need to my pic up i'd rather not scare folks!

Interestingly when the avatars started a few months back, very few people put up real pics of themselves - it was all cartoons and icons. Can't remember who put up the first real-face pic.

My avatar represents how I'd like people to see me. (Cute and cuddly yet weird and wacky all at the same time). That's far better than the 'real' me. (Boring and nerdish).

After reading your post, I'm tempted to use a picture of James Bond (Sean Connery? Pierce Brosnan?) as my avatar but, sadly, I don't think that it would be appropriate ;-)
