A very odd Ebay Experience
8 Answers
Do you think an Ebay seller would sell you something for £3.99 with free first class delivery.
It does not turn up after 10 days. You tell them. They kindly off to send another one by First Class post.
Again it doesnt turn up a week later. You confirm the address was correct. Would the same thing get lost twice.?
You tell them you cant expect a third attempt but perhaps they should send all there stuff recorded in future. You dont leave negative feedback as he is 97% OK.
Would they bother with all that hassle just to get £3.99 or is this another well known minor scam ?

E-mail the seller for a third and final time ...advise them you are not happy with the poor service. Point out that neither item has been received and ask for an immediate refund.
If you dont get a response within 24 hours then start the dispute process as boxtops says.
Paypal are pretty good at snatching money back ... let them deal with it ... you pay for that...

You need to open a dispute with eBay throught the resolution centre - there are processes for dealing with sellers who are messing about. How do you know they actually send it? I always get proof of posting for my eBay sales so I can claim off the Royal Mail if things go missing in the post. In answer to your question - yes, if this seller has several of these things (so can easily "send another") if it is a scam, the £3,99s will soon mass up. 97% is not particularly good, did you check the individual ratings for him before you purchased, and check what others have said about him? eBay will certainly act if he is a serial problem, but they rely on eBay members to report and open disputes so the matter can be dealt with. Open a dispute for this one, he has seven days to respond to eBay. I am sure that there is a dispue saying "I bought an item, it never arrived" - better that eBay deal with it than that you try to resolve it yourself.

hello samiagee, i too have had probs with sellers, but not ebay, with Amazon, same old though, the price is 3.94 inc p&p to spain from the uk, and 3 different occasions it happened, the books i ordered didnt arrive on time, same ol excuses, but after complaining to seller, finally got all 3 books from 3 different sellers, and of course i left 3 rubbish feedback reviews
it wasn't a phone charger was it? The same thing happened to me when I tried to buy a replacement phone charger....the wierd bit was that it happened with 2 different sellers, with both of them supposedly sending a replacement when the original didn't turn up. Reported both to Paypal, got my money back, then left negative feedback - one of the sellers then got closed down.
