Hi, my daughter has just been turned down for claiming incapacity benefit, does anyone know the site where she can download an appeal form to print off please. Thank you. PS does this now mean she will not be entitled to DLA now. xx

did they not give her the appeal route in the letter they sent turning her down? That's usual practice. incapacity benefit and DLA are seperate. Plus you have to remember, it's one officer making a decision on one day, therefore the decision could be completely different. It is my solemn belief they turn everyone down at first, just to weed out the less tenacious people!

Hi, its not longer incapacity benefit, it is now employment support allowance. If she is sick and cannot work then she can either claim for income related, or contribution based. Either way she should be entitled. x Hope you get somewhere x
