Can a court judgement be removed

If i had a court judgement to pay arrears on a property once I've cleared that debt can I have the judgement removed? If so how do I go about it any advice?

If you pay the debt in full within one month of the CCJ being given you can apply to the court to have the entry removed from the Register of Judgments, Orders and Fines.

All other CCJs must remain on the Register for a period of 6 years.

Providing you pay the debt within 7 days you can apply for a certificate of satisfaction. Any longer than that - then no you can't.

Well, a post three weeks after the question was asked might still be useful - but only if the information is actually correct (which it most definitely isn't!).

A 'Certificate of Satisfaction' can be obtained at any time after the debt has been paid. (It makes no difference whether the debt is paid in one day, one week, one month, one year or one decade). However, if the debt is paid within one month (NOT within 7 days) the judgement can be removed from the file. Otherwise it is simply marked as 'satisfied':
