is it safe without 7days break will you finished the 21pills of marvelon?

Hi Ladies,

I need your advice or opinion regarding in my situation,by the way i start taking marvelon and this is my 2pack of marvelon in my first pack my period was ok,but the problem is my period for this month doesnt come yet,is it because i didnt take a break 7days after i finished the 21pills?cause the way i drink it i started when my first day and never had a gap on drinking,then after i finished my 21pills i directly take the second pack,but last 2days i was worried because my period dont come yet so i search about marvelon and it say first day of your period take the pills and after you finished the 21pills then u have to take a break for 7days,i did that but one thing i didnt do is no break for 7days,do you think im safe????is it ok even we dont take a break as long we dont miss drinking our pills?my boyfriend told me not to worry cause he said i never forget to drink my pills so he said im safe,is he right?please help me for this i need your opinion about it,or is any one had this experience like im having right now?


A advice or response to my email,will make a big help for my worries

If it says to take the tablets for 21 days then have a 7-day break - that's so you get your period during those 7 days. You shouldn't go straight from one pack to the next. Why did you just keep going with the tablets?

I didnt read carefully the instruction about the pill i take,if i stop do you think there's is possible i get pregnant?I'm afraid to stop because im afraid to get pregnant

I've often taken one pack after the other to skip a period. Nothing wrong with it.

U m, I know you can do that if you deliberately want to miss a period (special event etc) but I read that sunhe did it by mistake, not realising how to take them.

complete the 21 day cycle of pills that you are now on and THEN take you 7 day break. Dont stop midway through.

oh and read the instructions in packet completely for future reference.

Thanks,it help my worries.so i just continue the pill that i have now till i done the 21pills then stop and wait for 7days.

Next time i will do it carefully and make sure i read the instruction.

yes, thats right.

and always read the information leaflets, you wouldnt even know if you were suffering from bad side effects or when you were safe to have intercourse or anything (which, i presume, is reason for taking them in first place)

yep carry on taking them. I was on marvelon, and when I first started them I did 3 weeks in a row, you may find you are quite ill on the break, bad stomach cramps and headaches, just dont do it again

yeah maybe that is the reason why this past few days im having pain in and im having stomach cramps i never think its the side effect for me,i know its just normal,actually i still have 6pill left for my second pack after this i take break and wait 7days.

yeah i forget to tell ladies the reason i didnt read the leaflet carefully because its in chinese,and i cant read chinese character,that is way when we buy the marvelon me and my boyfriend search it in website of how to use it,we just remember that the first day of your period then we did it so thats the only thing we know we miss some instruction.
