8 Flower Quiz in aid of St Columba's Church Funds. 26 mixed questions. Closing date Saturday 4th March 2017.

9 CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR 2017 quiz in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. Mixture of 60 questions - 30 questions with YE or AR in the answer, 15 clues on pantomime characters and 15 questions on anniversaries in 2016. Closing date 11th March 2017.

10 Cystic Fibrosis Trust Picture Quiz This is a picture quiz (pictures are all in colour) containing cakes, drinks, children’s characters and flowers, all you have to do is name them! Closing date is 31 March 2017.

11 Fenwick Bowling Club TV Programmes quiz. Closing date 31 March 2017

12 Proverbs and Sayings Quiz in aid of Nairn Hydrotherapy Pool 30 Questions. Initials are given for each proverb/saying. Tuesday 18th April 2017.

13 FISHY QUIZ in aid of The RAP Foundation 2nd April 2017.

15 UK Natural History. St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild. Forty clues for you to solve. Closing date on 15th June, 2017.

16 The Annual Blesma Place Names Quiz for 2017. Once again, all of the answers are the names of places in Great Britain. The closing date is 31st October

Can't stand this new version. And I am not the only one. If, as was said yesterday, it is to help people who use a tablet then could you please use two versions instead of bamboozling your older users?

Afternoon CAJJES,

Two thirds of AB members use either a tablet or a smartphone of some kind, we kind of have to give them a way to get on.

The design method is called "responsive design" which means that the same site displays differently on different screen sizes.

If you could let me know what you don't like, then we can take it into account and maybe improve things for those who haven't been convinced yet. I can't do anything for you unless I have specifics however.

Additionally, if the site is looking very weird to you (like the new site is trying to wear the old site's clothes, text bleeding out etc) then you need to refresh your browser (CTRL+F5) and clear your browsing data. As always, happy to have a discussion about improving the site here - especially for Quizzers, as you're an important part of the site, who are quite hard to get the attention of!

I did post yesterday that this topic, 'Quizzes & Puzzles Round Up' perhaps would be better in the large open space above the questions and answers and not amongst them even though you have kept them at the top. It would then make it stand out as it was before.
