That's a lot of fruit Tilly, I went shopping today, and came back with Bananas, Raspberries, Strawberries, Blueberries and apricots. Oh wants smoothies.
Ditto - Mr J2 that is. He's an awfully good shopper (having been widowed for 17 years before he met me) he compares prices etc., etc. and argues about meal choices. Then sweeties, biscuits etc. appear in the trolley. Just leave me alone to do it! (I do love him lots :) )
MrG never shopped, either with me or alone, until after he had a kidney transplant and then he became a nuisance......
He also started cooking......and became an even bigger nuisance......
He had received a kidney from a lady.....I think she had been a shopper and a cook......
He once called me at work and asked where he could get bay leaves.......I didn't know he even knew it could be an ingredient.....
I told him but he failed to find any....when I came home I discovered on the patio a large bay tree.....
He had gone to the garden centre......he was going to get a bay leaf one way or another..... :-)
Anyhow, I'm sure that all this fresh fruit will do us good. When I go shopping by myself, I usually buy oranges, apples and pears. This week, we have more of a variety.
