I need to know what use these are (every day) when the posters haven't got the actual paper (which is needed for a valid claim).

I guess if you "win" you look on Ebay for backdated copies.

you have to claim between 9-4 on Friday so doesn't leave a lot of chance to get newspapers

OG^^they've perhaps thought of that....you can't know if you've "won" until Friday's paper and you have to claim by 4pm same Friday....and need the paper in front of you to answer "confirmation" questions.

maybe people without the paper find it useful to know if they are not a winner so they don't have to bother buying it?

i'm not giving anymore answers of cities as there are to many people coming on AB asking ,they can't all be having trouble getting a paper .

That is really nasty. The condition is in the small print at the bottom of the page, not even clearly associated with the box with the competition info. I reckon loads are going to be slinging their copy out to recycling mid week, so may be ineligible to claim. It also says "newspaper", singular but it takes multiple newspapers to win. I think that's really bad.

^^anybody entering this sort of competition should familiarise themselves with all the Ts and Cs....even the small print.
