You could well be right, Toorak and probably are. I just happened to know where BB went to school and the dates for the priory school sort of fitted.

Was wondering where the coast came in to it, but then realised that it was the mention of Friend (erroneously) bringing his bucket and spade which has misled peterofware. I agree with Toorak: Sir Michael Tippett is the composer. Earlier thread here:
