4. Just The Job. Raising money for Water Aid. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st August 2024.

5. I say, I say. ShelterBox Quiz. £1.25 entry fee. Closing date is 25th September 2024.

6. The Latest Cryptic Quiz. Supported by the Rotary Club of Tiverton. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 30th September 2024.

Closing in October 2024

7. Childen's Society Summer Quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 30th October 2024.

8. Buxton Mountain Rescue Quiz 19. Please, no asking for online help before 21st October. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st October 2024.

SUMMER quiz in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. (www.roaf.org) Closing date – 7th September, 2024. Mixture of 60 questions – Some questions with SU MM or ER in the answer, some questions on song titles and some questions with answers containing the letters SUN. The quiz costs £1 (cheques payable to C.Giffard). 1st prize £10, runner up £5 and prize of £5 drawn from all entries regardless of score. Quizzes available from Mrs C. Giffard, 91 Cecil Street, Manselton, Swansea. SA5 8QP. If anyone would like a copy emailed to them, I am willing to do that and you can pay on return - [email protected]

Thank you to those who took part in the SPRING quiz. £100 was raised for ROAF. The winners were: 1st prize Mrs K Tippling from Malton.  Runner up prize –Caroline Mitchell from Kettering and prize from all entries –Mrs P Pearson from Burton Latimer.
