80's Walkers Crisps Ad (Me Old China)
Does anyone remember an 80s Walkers campaign (I think it was their "Don't you insist on Walkers crisps?" one) where Roger Walker, as a stall owner, tries to fob off a chinese guy with a brand called "So So Crisps".
At one point he calls the chinese guy "Me old china."
The chinese guy is insistent on Walkers and then karate chops the stall down in a rage whilst shouting "WALKERS!"
I'm sure the chinese guy was in "Albion Market" back in the mid 80s.
Anyway, can anyone confirm if this ad was banned for whatever reason (racism or copycat attacks)? Also can anyone remember the exact year of broadcast and does anyone know where I can see it again?
