I send mine off every week but haven't won for about 25 years..I still get a lot of fun doing them though. My theory is that because there is so much help available on the internet and from Answerbank they get a lot more entries than they used to

I got £25 from Sunday Ecpress about 6 weeks ago
I have won in various places over the years. Radio Times, Telegraph, Scotsman, Prospect and some others. Don't give up.
Won a trip to Scotland yes you 've guessed. No I dont live there but went anyway .
Not me - have won other comps though, sometimes a "gift horse in the mouth"

I was in the US with the ex and on the radio there was some obtuse question concerning the UK. I can't remember what the question was. I phoned in and duly won - the prize was a meal in a restaurant in New York.

We duly cashed in and for my sins, I had food poisoning from their clams......
About a year ago I won the £100 fountain pen in the MoS Sir Lancelot Crossword - and very nice it is too.
I won a guinea in the Irish News xword. I was in my sisters house over Christmas one year and filled out Take a Break competitions out of boredom. I won, in her name, £400 of shopping vouchers.
I've also recently had £25 from the Sunday Express. It was for the Skeleton Crossword, which to be honest, I would never complete without the help of all you wonderful Answerbankers (and no, that's not Cockney rhyming slang). I suppose I should share it with you really but I don't think 0.00001p each would go very far these days!
In the 1990s I won 2 holidays with the Sunday Express as well, one to New York and one to Austria. Neither of those were crosswords though.
bet Bibblebub has won a bucket-full.....
I guess I've been more lucky than most . I have done the Daily & Sunday Express crosswords & puzzles for many years . To date I have won £100 in the Giles competition , £50 in the Mensa competition , £25 as a runner up in the Sunday Express crossword competition & also won the first prize of £1000 in the same competition . The £1000 was the last one I won just over 2 years ago . I still do the crosswords & puzzles every week but I dont think I will win anything again somehow , I reckon I've had more than my fair share of wins . I'd rather win the Lottery anyway so I shall keep on doing that every week !
Merry Christmas & a Happy ( and lucky ! ) New Year to you all .
Hi, yes I won the Sir Lancelot fountain pen approx 18 months ago. It was a lovely surprise too.
I've won a £25 runner up prize on the You crossword a couple of times and Saga a couple of times, an electronic crossword solver - which I use regularly - and a dictionary. But for what I have spent out on postage over the years...........
I'm still waiting to win the Mail on Sunday £1500!
Yes, I've won three times. Indeed, I've been doing today's lot with my Telegragh pen.
Around 11 years ago, I won 6 or 7 different prizes in as many months - then nothing until the Times Jumbo last year...
yes £1,000
won The prize Crossword on The Mail on Sunday about 3 yrs ago 2,000 euro.
Yes, I have won quite a few times. When you enter you know more or less if you are correct. After that it is just a raffle. Good luck.
Yes, I once won Daily Mail crossword prize, and once won trip to Carribbean.
I won £25 in the You magazine crossword a few years ago, I also won £100 in the Daily Record Saturday crossword, the week before they put the prize up to £500! The biggest thing I won was a trip to Los Angeles in 1992 and it was fabulous. I also won £500 of furniture from Vogue, a weekend to Edinburgh, theatre tickets and toiletries.
Yes I won £1000 from the Sunday Express. It was so weird because the cheque came in a plain brown envelope with a second-class stamp. What a nice surprise it was too!
have wom £25 twice from sunday express and £25 in you but it was over a 30 year period
