Just had yet another shower when I have had to take the tops off the shampoo and conditioner and put a spot of water in to eke out enough to wash my hair. I can get three hair washes out of bottles my kids have chucked out as finished because there is not a handful of stuff to use! Are they all this wasteful?

thanks pug, yes I do that, and sauce bottles!
Well if my daughter is anything to go by I think its yes. Cant understand why they do it, well I do really but it would start another conversation, so will leave it at that.
To say nothing of toothpaste tubes!
They don't really understand expense, i think, until they have to buy these things themselves. I doubt it's a generational thing. I probably was the same at one point.
Shampoo AND conditioner. Tut tut, you don't know you're born. I rub my head on the rocks in the icy river.
That explains a lot, sweety!
Hiya till. SHOWER, you'll be telling me next you use hot water.
That's cheaper than an Indian Head Massage, sweety. Rocks in an icy river. Sounds invigorating, though.
maybe they need to be taught how to do that ... maybe it hasnt occurred to them.
when the stuff stops coming out unless they know how to get more out they will see it as empty

have you, as a parent, ever shown them how to do that?
It may just happen to be one of the million and one things parents have to do that may have slipped the net.
