Elderley lady ( currently in hospital ) will probably need to go into a care home permanently .
The carer ( daughter ) who looks after her is currently in hospital after a major operation and will likely not be able to continue looking after her , when she herself is discharged from hospital.
What is the current policy regarding the house which is owned by the elderley lady, if she is put into care - will she be forced to sell to pay for the care home bills ?
It's a complex area. Whether fees need to be paid depends on whether it's England or Scotland and whether the NHS will fund it (is it health reasons). Is anyone living in the house?
The daughter won't be forced to move out- can stay living there, but eventually fees may be sought from the estate. But there may be no fees to pay depending on teh circumstances
