Birthday Party
12 Answers
It was little Tigs birthday yesterday and we had a party at an indoor trampoline park with 5 of his friends. It was so good to be able to book something and mix with others as its also the last birthday before he finishes primary.
I spent my big 5 0 at home doing nowt back in February so planning a big party in August in my new house. It'll be a house-warming/birthday bbq so I really hope there are no more lockdowns.
Anyone else missed out on any big occasions over the last year?

Most of us hit 70 last year so those are on hold. Lots of visits from the UK to our new home were cancelled. Most of the family, including me, missed mum's funeral. She had left strict instructions for a big send off.
In truth it's not so much the big occasions that I miss. It's just seeing the children and grandchildren...days out with the daughter or just an evening in garden chatting with them over a bottle of wine.
Still, outdoor dining is arriving here in a couple of weeks so we've got the macs, wellies and brollies ready... :-)
