Its Halloween, so what are you doing tonight?
Do you typically sit in darkness and avoid the trick or treaters, and not answer the door?
Or do you go around the houses with your child or children actually taking part in the trick or treating?
Either way we cant really avoid Halloween, unless you go to the pub, or live in a cave, or under a rock.
Personally I typically take my now 9 year old daughter out trick or treating, and let my partner stay at home dealing with answering the door, but I have to confess I do enjoy it. I'm hoping my daughter doesn't grow out of it just yet. My eldest daughter who is now 20, grew out of Halloween by she was 10, so this could be my last Halloween doing trick or treating.
What will you be doing tonight, oh and what is a typical age for a child to grow out of it?

We moved a few months ago and our front door isn't accessible from the sreet so we won't have any trick or treaters calling this year.
I can't recall when he grew out of trick or treating, we used to to do house arties more than go door knocking anyway, but aournd 10 is probably about right
Well I have just had the best news I've had in a very long time, much awaited for news, although I won't elaborate if you don't mind. In short though we are going to have a little private celebration at home. I am so happy I could burst and we can go away with the kids this weekend and really enjoy ourselves.
