A picture of a kestrel on the village church roof which is only 50 metres from my house, taken when here on a visit in the Summer by my daughter Katia; who knows a lot about birds.
We were sitting in the garden and she suddenly said, "kestrel ! " sure enough there it was and she grabbed her camera.
I looked up what is German for kestrel and it is, Turmfalke ( tower falcon ) - interesting !
It's also a sneaky way for me to send you all a Christian image at this time of the year.
Cheers! Khandro.

Buzzards stay in the same area for around 8 weeks after fledging, until they are fully independent
