Valentines day

Does anyone have any suggestions for a 3/4 day valentines day trip? Ideally reasonably priced.

I was thinking of exactly this for my partner and myself.

Paris is a no no as far as I am concerned. It is dirty, grubby and overpriced!

You can go to Venice for quite a reasonable price. I have been there this time of year on a college trip and it is not the warmest of places! There is a wide variety of hotels to suit all tastes and budgets.

Another place I was thinking of was Barcelona. I have never been there, but I have heard that it is a great city. I believe that most of the budget airlines travel to these two cities!

Alas, we are ploughing all money we have into moving house to get a bigger place! We can't warrant going away for Valentine's Day anymore I am afraid! :(

Anyhow, I hope that this has given you inspiration, and you have a great holiday. Venice is truly romantic!
