Depends what you mean by cook. I cook from scratch probably about 4 nights, but pull something out the freezer and chuck it in the oven a couple of nights a week and we usually go out for dinner/lunch on a Sunday. I work full time, but finish at 3 every day to pick up kids. Can't do a meal every night as I am usually driving kids to various classes and clubs.
At home Mum - four or five nights a week, eat out (proper food someone else makes from scratch) twice. Every week one takeout but the night varies according to everyones schedule.
5 nights a week cook dinners, Friday takeaway night, 1 night either eat out or beans or egg on toast/baguette/jacket potato type thing. Work fulltime term time only as senior nurse mental health.

I work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. I cook every day of the week and most days do this in shifts as I have a child coming in from school, one coming in from work/college and another working shifts with his step-dad. We occasionally have a take away on a Saturday but that's only when my children's father takes them out.
I cook family dinner every night at home and for 120 kids every dinnertime at work.
usually everday, but sometimes its just pasta and a sauce. sometimes i make the sauce from scratch with fresh tomatoes etc, sometimes from a jar. I am a childminder so i dont know if thats considered a "real" job. hope that helps
