dressmakers or seamstresses help please

My daughter has the most wonderful top with beads and embroidery etc but the inside really scratches her from the bits of cotton where the knots have been tied. It's a summer top so she cant wear a vest under. Is there some sort of iron on fabric that would cover all the inside making it smooth like wonder-web maybe? She had another top like this and it did have some sort of mesh fabric to stop the cotton rubbing.
