Himself wants to get a bouncy castle but ive seen first hand over the summer how bloomin dangerous they can be especially when there are toddlers and teens on them! plus the fact we've got small garden. i need help!!

is there any mommys or daddys out there who have any ideas or pills for this sort of thing? :o)

probably best to ask in parenting, lots of mummies and daddies there. xx
I dont understand the anguish. Get a bouncy castle man (or woman) to come round and look and see if they have a princessy one that might fit. Buy her a princess outfit to wear for the day and I am sure shell be happy enough.

Why does it have to be such an ordeal? Creating such tension beforehand doesnt bode well for your daughters relative enjoyment.

You can get princess paper plates, cups and serviettes from Woolies.
A couple of ideas -

make some sweet biscuits cut out in the shape of crowns (I would think you can buy a crown shaped cutter)

give the guests a crown or tiara to wear at the party (you can buy them in places like Claires Acessories cheaply)

Tie pink and white ribbons and bows to anything you can in the garden. The ribbons would create a great effect flowing from any trees and hedges.
1. take 8 x 11 construction paper, roll into cone shape and staple. Attach pieces of tulle to point. Instant princess hat. make bforehand or as an activity at party.

2. Use upside down Ice cream cones (flat bottom) on a rectangle cake. They look like turrets on a castle.

3. Look for some disney princes CD. some have interactive songs that could be a party game or two.

4. Hang Butcher Paper with a light, uncolored form of a castle and let kids color it.

(I have no kids, but have been to too many princess parties to count.)

5. Shop on Disney.com for cheap princess items. Some are bagged together, but could be opened and used separately as favors, decorations, cake toppers.
i did a princess party for my 8 yr old in June and this what we did
on arrival each princess made a crown using a crown template I had made and then they stuck on all sorts of things beads glitter etc.....
we then played princess games - pass the hot potato became a toy frog, musical statues (princesses), pin the tail on the donkey (lips on frog, drawn and lots of cut out lips)
then the food was renamed to suit the theme.
after more games we finished with sleeping princesses and they all went home with their now dry crowns - a good time was had by all.

we did the bouncy castle last year and only had one casualty - a cut lip and a picnic i the garden, but I found I still had to do games as they get bored of nothing but a bouncy castle for and hour and a half - thats the longest party I do
Log onto Partyrama. They have loads of fab stuff for all kins of partys. You only have to but what you need.
