one of my friends didnt have to pay playgroup fee's for her daughter who was 2 and a half when she started as she was on benefits, think it was either income support or child tax credits.. does anybody else know of this?.. my sister has asked her local council about it but they are not aware of any procedure like that.. will it be because its two different boroughs and two different councils?

Hmmm.......I didnt get any help with fees when my daughter was at playschool even though I was on income support myself at that age. Fees were paid from the first term after her 3rd birthday. Has your friend tried the Inland Revenue site? That may have more useful information.
