She has something wrong with her joints they are too loose or the muscles are not attatched to them right (sorry I know thats not helpful really!) But she is seven. This morning on the walk to school she fell over and I mean head over heels flat on her face but she didnt seem to trip just fell over!
No your right to worry hun it just shows that you care, but as long as the child is well looked after eg fed watered clean loved and healthy then at least he is ok. But I know how you feel my daughter is friendly at school with a little girl on our estate whos mother also has learning problems. the poor little girl is painfully thin always really dirty but she seems happy enough so she must be loved which is the most important thing. Social services are involved with the family but there is only so much they can do.

We've been mates since primary school and she's a great mum just a wee new thing i noticed. thanks for letting me know i'm not being over protective.... sometimes i feel like i push her and question her way too much but we've been mates so long she takes my moaning and sometimes i question who's got more savvy :)

It just shows that you care hun thats all she should be glad to have a friend as good as you are. I have got a friend and we also go back to primary school and she is my kids godmother and we put up with each others moaning etc, but your doing the right thing also just a thought problems with the ears like glue ear and ear infections can affect someones balance I am lead to believe. But if he is fit and healthy then it may just be him being a tad clumsy. If it caries on over a period of time then maybe suggest to your friend to ask her health visitor about him falling. Offer to take her or go with her then your mind will also be put at rest. x But good friends like you are hard to find your friend is very lucky x
My child has just been diagnosed with dyspraxia; she's 11 now, however, as a baby & toddler appeared as very clumsy. She has fine & gross motor skill probs. Children with this condition become tired more when active as it takes a lot more physical effort on their part to do a very simple task, this can also add to the falling over. This really is worth looking into if there are no other obvious causes, as the earlier the diagnosis the quicker more supportive help can be put in place both in school & out. I could be completely over the top and it could be nothing or there are several other possibilities, its worth getting checked out by a peadatrician.
