SKY Sat subs advice needed - moving house
1 Answers
Hi everyone, your sage advice is needed. We're moving house shortly. The house we're moving into has a Sky dish, but it's not Sky + enabled.
We actually have a new Sky + dish that we didn't need when we moved into the house we're in at the moment,
What's the cheapest way of transferring our Sky subscription, or will it be cheaper to cancel our subs and start again at the new place as we're not really in a position to change the dish over ourselves?
Someone told me there's a cheap deal on Sky + installation, but I'm not sure that the deal is available to existing Sky + customers who are simply moving house.
Anything we can save money on at this time would be great. Thanks very much in advance.

The difference between a normal and Sky+ "dish" is that the receiver is different, the actual dish part itself is the same so converting from standard to Sky+ is a simple job.
Basically talking to Sky and getting them to do the work is the best option as the independant people cost a fortune as they tend to do the jobs Sky won't/refuse to do.
