Hello pet, thank you for popping in to say Hi when I was in News, I have posted on here for you as you asked me a question, yes, I do make my own greetings cards all of the time with the exeption En-Masse at Christmas, that would be toy expensive although I do the "special" ones my self close family and friends, I do my own Christening, Birthday and also my own event invitations if I am doing a Charity Evening, the programme I use is called Greeting Card Factory, mine is quite old now but I would assume you can still purchase it from Amazon, I used it in XP and now use it in Vista, works well in either, take care and I hope this helps. Joy, do you use the eazi board, which is a plastic scoring board? (gives you nice sharp creases in your cards, and also embossing lines on them if you so wish).

Hey Joy, would lurrrrrrve to see a card you have made, if you would ever take a pic and put it on here, that would be great. I love cardmaking but I have had to cut down on it, due to rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, unfortunately.

Haven't seen you around much lately. Have ya been busy with your little grandson?

I don't use anything Mrs c, just guess work and normally get a good line from it, I also just stick to colours and fonts as opposed to the "arty-farty " things you buy at your Paper Mill shop, although I have used them when I did my grandsons Birthday invites.

Hi Mrs c. I am sure your cards are lovely, I used to think like you and that nobody would want to buy them, but I had a stall at a school summer fair and I sold loads which really gave me a confidence boost and have been selling them for about 5 years now. It is harder to sell them now as a lot of people have got on 'the bandwagon' and the likes of the Card Factory selling them for 29p doesn't help, so I keep trying to stay one step ahead and provide something different and although sales have gone down, I am still selling and enjoy making them anyway. Do you belong to any internet forums etc where you can chat about cardmaking?

Hi Jules, sorry about this very late reply - I have been away on holiday for a few days, and have only just noticed your post.

I don't subscribe to any forums but I have started looking for sites that give hints and tips on crafting. Do you use the eazi-board? I am thinking about buying one.

I am not very good at 'crafty' cards - I tend to make personal cards from photographs I have loaded onto the computer. They seem to go down well with the family, and they are quite basic and easy to make.

I'd love to see some of your creations, if there is a way that you could put a pic of them on here.

Hi mrs c - hope you enjoyed your holiday, I don't use the Eazi score board as I already had a couple of similar items before that came out. I think they are quite versatile though. I'm not sure how I could put pics on here of my cards, I do or did have a site (haven't been there for ages as I only set it up to show someone else my cards) I will see if I can still access it and think of how I can let you know how to visit it.
