Iv just bought bio washing powder by accident.
Can this be used on kids clothes.. one is 4 the other 1 (the kids!), neither have exma, or any other skin complaints.
I was told it had enzymes in it that ate away at your skin.. well that doesnt sound nice on even adults skin so what is the point in it..?!

If it 'ate away at our skin' it would not be on sale in the shops !!!

Biological just has stronger cleaning power

Bioligical powder is better at dealing with food stains and grease. Sometimes it can be harsher than non bio which is why it is usually not recommended for young children. That doesn't mean to say you can't use it, just keep an eye on the little ones to see if they have any reaction and make sure that you use a washing cycle with a good rinse programme.
I wouldn't use it, doesn't seem worth the possibility that it could affect your children. Can't you just take it back and change it when you next go shopping?

Thanks guys.. Already opened it though!! Will just have to use iton other halfs clothes if no good for kids!!
I wouldn't use it on my children's clothes. I do buy it for Hubby's work stuff as he works in a garage and gets covered in oil etc.

Also helps to keep the washing machines smelling nice too
Most washing powder these days is biological. You need to look for non-bio, marked on the pack.
You can buy wash balls now that have no detrimental chemicals at all, and they do work because I've tried them as I have a septic tank so don't want chemicals to upset it's balance.
