bio washing powder
6 Answers
Iv just bought bio washing powder by accident.
Can this be used on kids clothes.. one is 4 the other 1 (the kids!), neither have exma, or any other skin complaints.
I was told it had enzymes in it that ate away at your skin.. well that doesnt sound nice on even adults skin so what is the point in it..?!

Bioligical powder is better at dealing with food stains and grease. Sometimes it can be harsher than non bio which is why it is usually not recommended for young children. That doesn't mean to say you can't use it, just keep an eye on the little ones to see if they have any reaction and make sure that you use a washing cycle with a good rinse programme.
Most washing powder these days is biological. You need to look for non-bio, marked on the pack.
You can buy wash balls now that have no detrimental chemicals at all, and they do work because I've tried them as I have a septic tank so don't want chemicals to upset it's balance.
