Should our Gov intervene when a 'foreign' parent removes their kid to their homeland for rearing ?

Why can't the deserted parent follow the kid & live in that country.

This has been going on now for at least half a century and if any British woman marries and has children with, a foreign national, particularly form a Muslim country,then they know that this situation is a likely outcome.
