9 Answers
My partner is about to hit 50 in March and I have arranged the usual surprise party for him
with all his 1000s of friends and family!
He is the man who has everything and if he wants something will generally go out and buy it for himself .... as you can imagine present buying or giving his something special is a hard job to think of.
His friend just turned 40 this weekend and his
wife surprise him with a golf weekend with all his mates whilst the ladies spa'd all day! That evening she presented him with a THIS IS YOUR LIFE red book full of stories. I want
something special like this .... an ideas .... anyone seen any good ideas from previous parties?

Saw this at a wedding in China where the best man had two projectors on the go with the hubbie being gently 'trashed' (I think the word is officially 'roasted' on one side of the stage and the wife on the other. Hilarious......
We both had weekends away with just the two of us and it was lovely. My 50th was to Reykjavik and it was sensational. My OH was 50 in October and we went to Dusseldorf and had a great weekend (love Germany anyway).
Cant help otherwise as I know from experience that most dont like the whole monty (so to speak lol) -its just too much and they end up not enjoying their party and everything else as they have to be the 'host'. You know him better though.
