Child maintenance and child benefit

Hi all,

I wanted to know whether a mother can claim child benefit from the government and child maintenance from a non-resident parent (deductions made by the CSA) alongside the child benefit?

I have looked at the CSA, C-MEC and DirectGov sites and cannot find any information about what benefits the mother is entitled to received.

Please help if you can

Yes, you get both. Also, ring Inland Revenue on 08453003900. They will help you with others.

Ok. They will advise you with Child Tax and working tax and supply you with numbers for others - is what I meant.
