Leggings

I know this is a bit ramdom but, do you class leggings as trousers or underwear? I say trousers, 18 year old daughter says underwear. Also how do you keep them up, I have just started wearing them ( I still remember them from the first time round in the 80's) they are so comfy but I spend all day hauling them up, it's not a good look. They are the right size, so its not that they are too big. I am considering braces.

Leggins should only be worn under a tunic, etc. It looks horrible if you can actually see your bum wobbling around (again nothing to do with size). It just looks like you have gone out with your tights on and forgot to put on a top.

Don't agree actually society. I have seen some plump women wearing them under a dress and they look fine. Better than tights or having white legs. I love them worn with little flared skirts on girls who or slender or even plumper ones who have hourglass figures and worn with little flat shoes or ankle boots.
I would just look ridiculous at my age and build. I think real skinnies look worse in leggings than those with some shape to their legs. However, leggings simply have to be black or a very, very dark colour!!!

So did I Prudie!! I have given up the belts and the high heels now!!
The ones I have now fit so much better than the ones I had in the 80's and hold their shape better. I suppose it depends on the make though!!
btw, Mr LL thinks all women that wear leggings look like Max Wall!! But I don't dress to please him!!

My Mum always went by the rule that if you were old enough to wear them first time round then you shouldn't wear them next time round.
I remember wearing leggings when i was little in the early 90's - so to her theory i shouldn't be wearing them now at 24 .......... i do!! I think fashion is coming round in circles alot faster than first thought.
