Should Cameron listern to his defence chiefs?

So Cameron thinks he knows better than the top brass at the business end.

There once was a little Ex German army corporal, who was very good at talking, but wouldn't listen to his Generals either, and look what happened to him?

If you don't mean him no idea, but Cameron is PM, and has to make tough decisions, and has had to listen to not just his own party but the Lib Dems, who are putting a spanner in the works over any number of issues.
It seems like barely 18 months ago that the head of the army General Dannant was leaking like a sive to the Conservative Party, eventually being made an adviSor and on the opposition payroll.

Cameron has realised he has made an almighty blunder in Libya. He thought by leading the charge he will be looked on like a rejuvinated Thatcher. He was very quick to point out the failings of Health, Criminal Justice and Forestries but when it comes to his own war policies he has come a cropper. I wonder who he'll blame for the Libyan fiasco and maybe the generals are the last people standing.
