I bet they make a lot of money out of people who can`t get internet access while they`re away. I don`t know where you`re staying but you could try asking at your hotel if they have a business centre. I usually manage to check in while I`m away by asking nicely and the hotel lets me use their computer as most guests need to have that facility.
Its no problem to find a internet cafe or bar unless of course you are going mountain treking, it's about 2 euro a hour but ask for the computer with a printer before you start, the same if you use a hotel, it only takes about 10 mins, longer if you have a wine at the same time but more fun. I leave it until about 3 days before we fly home and have never had any trouble, enjoy.
I don't see any mention of where you are going but most countries have free access locations for internet browsing and e-mail with perhaps a small charge for any printing. Typically, libraries are the locations where you can during their opening hours get onto the net and they almost always have a printer somewhere, usually at the sign-in desk (reception). Otherwise, if there is no such place at any point within easy reach in the three weeks you are at your destination then I would simply go to any place where they are likely to have internet facilities of their own, explain the position and ask if they would assist you as necessary. You might have to pay a small charge - ask first. It would surprise me if you would not in this way find that people are helpful - with the possible exception of Germany and possibly some Francophone areas unless you speak the local language reasonably well. If you are refused at one place, try another - I firmly believe that more than 90% of humanity is basically pleasant people, it's just that some locations/areas seem to get an unfairly/disproportionately high percentage of the rest, and you can't always tell which is which.
after all that just thought id pop on ryanair site and see if it would let me print the return boarding passes and it did so the 15 day thing doesnt really apply as my return date is in 21 days time even tho when i phoned them they said i wouldnt be able to do it until 15 days before oh well im at peace now i got both sets of boarding passes and im off tomoz for 3 weeks of sunshine cheers for all your replys guys
Hi Tezmand, I also had a similar problem. I cant print out my return boarding card whenever we go away to our family villa for more than 15 days.We can only print off the Ryanair outbound boarding passes. We had read that passengers had been getting charged a £70 fee per person each way and we certainly wasn't willing to pay this. On a mission to resolve this problem I stumbled across this site from yahoo answers. www.checkinpal.com You simply request a free call back, leave your flight dates with them and they take care of the rest. They do your online check in for you and issue your boarding card sending it to a destination or address of your choice. In our case this is usually by international post to the villa. They do offer text, Post, Fax, Email, even airport collection for some destinations now. ( I have found a link for more info on youtube) Media URL: http://youtu.be/2Zk8YTdpnOE
