My daughter whines constantly
My daughter is nearly 3, she's alway been abit of a whiny child but it's seriously getting worse! Iv always been strict and not given in when she whines for something so I just don't understand why she does it! We can be playing a game together happy laughing then all of a sudden for no reason what so ever she falls the the floor whining and just throwing herself about :-s I feel like she's got 2 personalities and you never know which one she will be in the next 5 min! The other day I was telling her how much of a good girl she was and she fell to the floor n started rolling about whining! I can't tale it anymore! last night I was in tears as at 3 this morning she was lay in bed whining and crying for hours! She wasn't ill and age was so tired! She's done this for the past 3 nights! Please someone give me some advice on how to deal with this as its getting me so down! Also it's not just me that has noticed how bad this is getting!

But this is just like it's for attention even tho I leave her to it as soon as she starts! She's also got this new nasty face she pulls at me all the tine where she grits her teeth n growles at me! She generally well behaved tho, at family party's she award the most behaved it's just this whine it really let's her down!
Have you tried ignoring her when she's like this? I know it's hard Even impossible - but it seems that she knows which of your buttons to push and how to get you dancing to her tune. Do you have an mp3 player or something like that? If you do just tune yourself in and tyr to ignore the whiny behaviour. Of course you will have to keep an eye on her and not have the music too loud but you will in time be able to train yourself to not react to her bad behaviour. It might seem harsh but either she's in charge or you are.
Thing 2 has whined all afternoon (totally out of character), I told him calmly to stop and put him on the sofa. I didn't rise to it although it is hard for him as he doesn't speak. Just don't react, chose what your plan is going to be (naughty step, sofa, etc) and stick to it. When she has calmed done, praise her and carry on, don't hold a grudge or keep going on about it. It will soon pass.
