I'm whipping up a vegetable tagine today but have just found some prawns which I may throw in there too.

Last night I made the most amazing vegetable Goan masala. I bought the Goan masala paste in Tesco, from a range of exotic pastes which are currently on a multibuy offer. To the masala paste I added Coconut milk, coconut cream, ground almonds and a whole pack of chopped fresh coriander. It was so delicious that I didn't stop for one second to lament the lack therein of animal protein.

So what's on your menu today?

I felt a bit ropey this morning. I am having one of my mad cleaning days though.
Off down the local pub in a couple of hours or so...
Full of cold and chest infection so not in the mood to either cook or eat.

Nice one chuck. I could just devour some king prawn satay skewers and stuffed crab claws.
Daffy, order four bowls of hot 'n' sour soup from your local Chinese - works wonders!
I have no idea what I'm having today. I've spent most of the morning putting stuff on Ebay to sell and sorting out my paperwork which I haven't done for a couple of years!

I'll maybe have a couple of ham and cucumber sandwiches later.
I second the hot 'n' sour soup. Excellent nose unblocker.
Strewth! wish I knew but its time to get off this chair and sort it! You are spot on about curry though. Reckon it should taste great even if you forget the meat
Also, without getting too unsavoury (see what I did there?), an excellent expectorant...
Don't know yet, there is an assortment of stuff in the fridge - but there's only me today, and I have a thousand things to do in the house, and paperwork, so I'll get round to food later...
Our local Chinese doesn't open till 4pm but I might send my oh out then to get some for me.
Roast beef, yorkies, broccoli, roast potatoes, mash potatoes, honey roasted carrots and parsnips and some baby leeks.

That sounds lush, Ummmm. Topside?
Yes :-)

Won't be till later though...I'll be doing breakfast shortly...Bacon, egg (poached) mushrooms and toms...and I might add a few sauteed potatoes as well.
It will be sausages and homemade chips for us today so not a Sunday feast as such but it's food and that's all we need lol.
we don't feast on Sunday anyway - since OH doesn't get weekends off, Sunday's just like any other day for us.
Just a sandwich for lunch, but having the M&S dine in for a tenner meal later.
Roast Gammon, parmesan potatoes, followed by millionaire's shortbread dessert. Will probably add in some cauliflower as I have some..and of course the bottle of Pinot Grigio.

Those parmesan potatoes sound lovely!
