The depths of depravity...
The response to the recent recent Muslim teenage girls 'grooming' stories are pretty horrific and disturbing...but are our responses to those disgusting crimes muted by the sheer <insert appropriate word> of stories like this:
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ ...-buc ks-hert s-18712 853
I cannot fathom why someone...anyone would get their kicks by raping a four month old girl - is this becoming more frequent, or is it just being reported more frequently?
I recall a story from last year where a (female) nursery school teacher was found to be part of a paedophile ring - and again we're talking about her abusing toddlers.
What...is...happening...?

The link is safe.
However, i was watching the BBC News at Ten and Huw Edwards said that there were details of the offences that are so upsetting, the BBC couldn't actually say what they were.
I honestly think that if you can rape a...well, a baby, then the chances of your rehabilitation are pretty slim.
You could kill someone in a fight and it could genuinely be an accident (a fatal blow which in other circumstances would result in a black eye) - but to systematically abuse a baby...and share videos of it online...I dunno - that seems way beyond salvation...

So do I. At this moment in time I don't feel that I want to try to rehabilitate these people. Wrong, probably - but that's how this makes me feel. I just want to remove them from society and throw the key away. They deserve nothing.

This is a very crude analogy, but I think it stands up.
I am attracted to women, always have been and, hopefully, will retain the ability to be so, and I also have a thing for breasts. My sexuality is irrelevant, I'm referring to what "does it" for me. My sex drive has diminished slightly as I have got older, (and hopefully ever so slightly wiser), but women still float my boat.
This guy gets his kicks from very little girls; girls far too young to ever indulge in cosensual sex. That is what turns him on.
Anyone who can do that to an infant really should be euthanised.

Duncer - I've actually heard your analogy before, and I totally understand your point, which is why I find it difficult to believe that paedophiles who operate at this level, can really be 'made safe'.
The way it was explained to me (years ago) was, "Imagine if overnight, it became illegal for straight men to have sex with consensual adult women (or the gay equivalent). This is the confines that paedophiles live with".
My answer then, as is now, is - "Yes, but adult sexual relations ARE consensual. As a society, we condemn rape and paedophilia because one party ISN'T consenting"

.......and I would agree with you wholeheartedly sp1814. I have worked with these individuals/creatures, (not through choice) and it was probalbly the darkest period of my life. They are, without doubt, the most plausible, manipulative people imaginable, and a permanent threat to children. My analogy was very badly expressed, (I'm blaming the Staropramen), but I stand by it.
i would say they are a permanent threat to children and shouldn't be allowed out from prison or some institution. Either that you give them enough medication to damp their ardour in whatever way it takes.
It's beyond one's imagining to see quite what they get out of it, but this is a
sickening and truly despicable crime.

If there is undoubtable proof that this animal has committed these crimes, why can we not just execute it?
If it has to be locked up, it should be in a tiny dark room, in restraints, with (mouldy) bread and water administered every three days. That's it.
And it should be castrated first. Not the chemical procedure, but with a big, rusty, not very sharp knife. And no anaesthetic.
