My wife has two children age 11 & 15 her ex hasn’t paid a penny for either of them, the child age 15 now wants to live with her dad he now wants to claim money off me can he do this please. He is the biological father of the children. He doesn’t work he is lazy.

he can claim if he has custody and care of child under 16..he can also demand any family allowance etc for that child..although I think his record of non payment would have to be addressed at same time..is CSA involved...
Well you have one child and he has the other. He'll get the FA for that child.

Ask him how much maintenance he wants and ask the same back for the child living with you.
No, he can't. He should have been contributing to the financial support of his children since day one.

If the eldest does go and live with him he will be entitled to the child benefit etc from the state.
I think he can only claim if the child was adopted by you. Your wife should still go to the CSA for maintenance of the child who l lives with you. Ring their helpline.
