4 year old and Haircuts!!
Can anyone give me any suggestions as to how to make getting a haircut for my 4 year old son less traumatic? He has been to the hairdressers several times but it is always a bit of a struggle. My ex- childminder used to manage with clippers and I took over this role when I changed my work schedule so that we didn't need a childminder. I have managed to do it twice but it is a nightmare!! Wriggling and screaming and getting really upset. He needs a haircut again and we tried convincing him on Saturday but no go. Any ideas!

I sat him down at the table after Nursery with his play-doh and favourite TV Channel and snipped where necessary. He was really good, and we've agreed to have another go tomorrow just to tidy it up a bit more.
Fingers crossed it gets better as he gets older but I'm not holding my breath!!
Thanks for your suggestions, might try and see if I can get the comb/blade you were talking about spudqueen as it sounds like the business.
