Have a Holy Communion to go to Sat, I've no idea what to buy the young girl. What kind of things do the shops sell for this event?!?

For instance, if she's into horses, you could buy her a nice horse ornament to keep in her bedroom. It's something she can keep and hopefully it will increase in value. In my local china shop there are lots of Winnie the Pooh ornaments, money boxes, etc.
Good luck.

Prob being more than a tad pedantic here - but - do you mean a child's first communion as in the Catholic Church , or Cornfirmation as in Anglican Church?
I actually go to Holy Communion every week.
Something to keep with hopefully some religious meaning would be a lovely idea. If you are a gosparent maybe a Service Book would be appreciated.
