where's me cheese ?

thought I might have some cheese and crackers for lunch..got a nice big piece of really strong nippy..just as like it..open fridge door and it is gone !! I know exactly what has happened.. my other half will have binned it as there may have been a bit green on the rind..so intead of just trimming the rind the whole lot goes in the bin ! GGGRRRRR..he keeps chucking out perfectly good food..he is a bit of a Howard Hughes in that respect but it infuriates me..I hate to see good food wasted..and I had to make do with pate....anyone else have this problem ?

My OH loves throwing things away, all I hear from him is, "Is this any good?" I think I may take to hiding things as if I'm not about it gets binned anyway.

When I 'were a lass' we always had to trim the mouldy bits off cheese and scrape the mould off the top of the jam before we ate it.

as a Schoolgirl I worked Sats in a cheese shop...one of my jobs was to take the huge bits from cool room and trim ..all cheese before it gets to you is covered in a thick coating of the stuff and is really old before it is eaten..so a teeny weeny miniscule spot to me is daft !

yep, my OH is exactly the same. In fact even if something looks and smells perfectly fine he will throw it away if its just the day after the sell by date.

Smowball, that drives me mad. He's terrible for that. I wish he just wouldn't interfere with stuff like that.
