The Pirate Party - A Legitimate Party?
I was under impression that they dressed up as pirates and were generally silly around election time.
And yet, here's their manifesto:

They speak to a lot of things I worry about - the right to privacy, copyright, patent and liable reform, for example.
And then they go off the deep end with finance - such as a land value tax (I assume they're northerners in the majority?) and personal accountability for directors...
Why is it that no minor party can have a decent set of ideas back up with a not-completely-enraging/bonkers fiscal plan to match it?
